Jennifer Frankum’s work has previously appeared in such journals as Prismand The York Pioneer. A teacher at Saugeen District Secondary School, shehas also worked as a historical interpreter at Sharon and another museum.

Her first poetry collection, Strong in My Skin, was released by TheBrucedale Press in 1999. A second book of her poetry, Dance More Often, was published in 2004.

She likes to read, travel, and camp in the wilderness with her family and enjoys photography. Her mother, grandmothers, and now her two daughters inspire many of her poems.
