The Cat Goddess, Bast

by Daniel Kolos

September, 1995

Bast or bust!

Bast is best.

Bust on Bast.

Bussed Bast.

"Bastard!" Bast said.

Bast's bastard,

The Motherfucker.

Oedipus Rex.

Akhenaten.

"Fuck the Aten,"

He cried, while in bed

With Nefertiti,

Playing with her titti.

The beautiful one has come!

An orgasmic name,

An organic game,

Inorganic fame,

Plastic reputation,

Injection-molded charisma,

Charicature,

Haute cuture,

Split up to the crotch,

Slip up to the slit,

"Holy Shit!"

Another orgasmic cartwheel.

"Here boy! Heel!"

Am I a dogged lover

Or a cat-man

After the cat's ass?

Cat's miaw,

Bast's bust,

A copper mold,

Bast's bust,

Her nipple in my mouth,

Her claw in my back,

Her teeth in my neck,

Bast and bust,

What the heck!

I can no more fuck

An ancient Goddess

Than Dumuzzi could.

Innana loved him

And she killed him.

Sex kitten.
