Mohawk elder Sara Smith believes that peace can be accomplished person by person.  "Look for peace within and without: I believe all people have it sealed in their heart center. Find the thread of truth in all of this and begin to weave our tapestry of life again."
    "As the dreamer dreams, so does he become," she says.  "It's within the realm of possibility for all people to make that choice.  I'ts difficult when this news of war is on 24 hours a day and bombards our souls. People become immersed in what's happening rather in centering themselves and focusing on what could be."
