Concise News Item 53:
There is a new energy of passionate power fountaining through individuals and organisations. This energy will create a change of such phenomenal magnitude that within just a few short months you will not recognise our world at large, and especially the world of business. The energy has a radiance that is indescribable and a vitality that is palpable to the senses. You literally come alive as you touch it and partner with it.

Concise News Item 54:
Comment on Protests at the
World Economic Forum:
I believe that the very source
of the whole problem is a view that the world is composed of separate parts:
with corporate interests and imposed globalisation pervading the mind of the
individual. This fragmented mind currently manifests in the majority of human
beings. It is fueled by the micro-macro division between rich and poor,
us and them, us and animals, us and nature and so on.
The danger is considering "Them" as separate from ourselves. If this ancient mistake is repeated time after time, then how will we create the other possible world, a world without enemies, without conflict?
We are all human. Just human - and that is already so much. I sincerely hope, and urge every human being, me included, to live and manifest in higher orders all that is so deeply human in us all.

One of the mottoes of protest
at the World Economic Forum was this: "Corporations are
transnational and we need to be transnational too if we're going to beat
them!" Them are fighting words, and most of us are brought up,
habituated, politicized and brain-washed to fight against what we consider to
be 'evil'.
The world where there are only two choices is an artificial, abstract, logical world, usually created in the left brain. Using holistic thinking, encompassing the Whole Earth and all its possibilities, the people who run global corporations are just as powerless to stop as the people who rise up to fight them.
Change has to start in the mind, in the human brain and heart, or, as Pedro says, in simply being human. I, for one, join him in this noble exercise!

Concise News Item 55:
I want to use educational
media technology to
commend certain duties to all
people on Earth (Pollute
less, procreate less, consume
less, conserve diversity,
enjoy trivia). However,
if every individual mind, each
with its own unfathomable
imaginary-real world is
simply absolutely primary for
each human being, then
there seems to be little
prospect for generating enough
consensus to save mankind,
our cultural variety, and
much ecological variety, from
misery and/or extinction
in the next century or so!
Professor Gary Boyd, Education

(Educational Technology Graduate Programme)
Concordia University,
homepage http://alcor.concordia.ca/~boydg/
Interest-group models of community or lobbying have failed to achieve a world-wide ecological consensus, so far, so Prof. Boyd is right to question the survival of many ecologies. Even internet communities fall victim to the divide-and-conquer strategies of well-funded interest groups. As a result, funding becomes the leading focus for most groups instead of ecology or a philosophical unity.
Communication through thought - the human ability to combine mind-body functions to create a non-verbal, shared atmosphere of consensus - opens as a possibility for experimentation and eventual paradigm shift.
Follow the target articles on the Karl Jaspers Forum and see for yourself where quantum theory meets individual spiritual practices and creates that real and practical space where intelligence - the ability to survive without harming either one's self or others - becomes a universal constant without threatening individual sovereignty.

Concise News Item 56:
"A major war supposedly
'against international terrorism' has been launched by a government which is
harboring international terrorism as part of its foreign policy agenda. In
other words, the main justification for waging war has been totally fabricated.
The American people have been deliberately and consciously misled by their
government into supporting a major military
adventure which affects our
collective future."
- Michel Chossudovsky, 10/9/01
Excerpted from
"The 9-11 bombings Are Crimes Against Humanity" at http://www.ratical.org/ratville/CAH/
Having studied International Relations in the sixties, one of the themes of a 'Totalitarian' government was the need for an outside enemy against whom the leader could rally his people, even if the 'enemy' had to me manufactured! As soon as the United States abandoned its relative isolationism after WWII, it 'manufactured' the Cold War with full Soviet cooperation. Being new to such ongoing war-preparedness, the American people took the Cold Was seriously. When it ended and was exposed as a political farce, I would have thought that the American people noticed the futility of having spent so much time, money, energy and fear in vain.
It seems now that that fear never abated! With the hijacked 9-11 planes hitting their targets, the fear of the American people overwhelmed their common sense. That is the only way I can see them unquestioningly supporting a world-wide war, effectively World War III, against an 'enemy' their own government had created. I wonder when the American people will vote out of office this government that manipulates its people by playing on their fears?

Concise News Item 57:
I like to believe that people in the long run are going to do more to promote peace than our governments. Indeed, I think that people want peace so much that one of these days governments had better get out of the way and let them have it.

…the
multiplicities and contingencies of human experience necessarily pose a threat
to the tendency of any arbitrary power or 'authority' to dictate oppressive
hierarchical social structures or centralize power. Ergo, any attempt to
establish hierarchies and centralized power according to arbitrary dichotomies
of 'right' and 'wrong' behaviors was therefore not only morally and
philosophically, but also politically problematic, and, in fact, oppressive.
Jon Rosenblatt,

postmodern critical theory
Although
written under stress and published as humor, Rosenblatt drew his conclusions,
above, from a take-out menu! Are
we that blind and unconscious that an economically oppressive culture,
employing the pleasure principle, has seduced even our take-out food tastes
into a virtual fantasy? Clearly,
Yes! I eat Chinese food with chopsticks, but have never been in China and have
no idea what Chinese people eat.
Yet, at the expense of watering down ethnicity, eating ‘ethnic’ foods
establishes a sense of bonding with other people we have never met.

The dark power of the declining Fourth World cannot be destroyed
or overpowered. It's too strong and clear for that, and that is the wrong
strategy. The dark can only be transformed when confronted with simplicity and
open-heartedness. This is what leads
to fusion, a key concept for the World of the Fifth Sun.

In order to eliminate war, … all Humanity has to do is lift up in
consciousness and remember the Oneness of ALL life. Once a person remembers that all life is interconnected,
interrelated and interdependent, it becomes glaringly clear that it is pure
insanity to harm another part of life.

Peace within is a matter of
intelligence, and intelligence is measured by one’s ability to participate in
the life, in the ‘being’ of everyone else, everything else, one’s ability to
live without causing harm indeed!
Use your thoughts wisely. Understand their power. Thoughts have
a tendency to become their physical equivalent. This is one of the fundamental
laws of the universe. Another one is the law of attraction, which states that
"like attracts like." Because it is consciousness that creates
reality, the kind of consciousness you hold - your vibration - actually creates
the kind of life you're living.

Subject: HOW TO STAY HEALTHY AND CREATE PEACE
=========================================================================================
Concise News Item 65:
To create peace, you have to
be peaceful. The only way to stop war is to start from within yourself. You must
do personal disarmament. The only way to get and stay peaceful is to
concentrate on what brings you peace and resist the downward spiral of negative
emotions that blames others for your lack of peace. Remember, that to which you
give your attention expands.
Although there is no denying that we're in a perilous and frightening
position right now, that doesn't mean we are powerless to change it. But the
only way to do so is by changing your thoughts and emotions from those of
anger, hatred, and fear to those associated with compassion and peace.

As part of the concept, the evolution of consciousness, even the

And where do you find that ‘higher level’ of problem
solving? Somewhere behind the
cause-and-effect rational mind, beyond the dualistic limitations of the
intellect, hidden in that part of the human brain that is directly linked
with the heart!

Concise News Item 67:
To look (at the world situation) with a heart and mind that is
loving and compassionate is to see one thing, while to look expecting to see
enemies, either physical or non-physical, is to see something else.
However, the simple answer is that the people are awakening to grapple with the
opportunity and challenge of determining the kind of world they wish to live in
and the kind of future they can co-create.

The myth of scarcity: the fear that “there won’t be enough
resources for everyone. People try
to hoard love and attention as well as physical resources. Of course, hoarding stops the flow and
resources are temporarily diminished, so it appears the myth is true. Scarcity is created by our psyches and
then manifests itself in our power structures. Power-based dynamics feed on this myth. Fear and greed create scarcity.

I have just read Concise News Items 63-70. Cute and somewhat psycho-babble.
The problem with such matter is that it presumes that all people are created
equal and think alike. This is blatantly not so. Very few people are born good,
innocent, kind etc. Some people and their inner child are mean little shits.
It's how the world works. They would think on what war does to the world and
really wouldn't care as long as it gets them what they want. Besides I don't
believe that all wars or acts of aggression are by nature wrong. Force is
sometimes necessary. Nature employs it all the time.

Concise News Item 73:
When new ones (ideas, mental structures) are needed, they can
come out of the blue, though usually in response to a more or less clear need,
from intuition (or revelation when intuition is thought to come from a
mind-independent source outside oneself).
THE 0-D FALLBACK POSITION
KARL JASPERS FORUM
TA55 (Hontela) Commentary 24 (to C22 Muller to Nixon)

There is no question the brain forms new cognitive structures
all the time, but where these structures come from and how these are formed is
still under study. Whether these
new structures come from intuition (personal ‘wisdom’ within oneself) or
revelation (a more wise, or even all-knowing outside source) seems to be a
matter of one’s belief system.
