Karen Brill, M. Ed.

Karen Brill is Vice President of Learning & Leadership Development with Retirement Residences REIT. She is an organizational development and learning professional with a proven track record of planning, designing and implementing change initiatives for all levels in the organization. Strong background in adult learning, strategy implementation and development and facilitation. Karen consults to public and private organizations including financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing, government and health care. Her experience as a professional facilitator and coach helps her to work collaboratively with clients and support individuals and teams in achieving their key objectives.

Karen earned her Masters of Education, specializing in Adult Learning from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. She is a Director of the Global Facilitator Services Corps and an active member of the International Association of Facilitators.

Implemented training needs analysis, designed and delivered training for the multi-skilled worker model of care for a hospital and long-term care provider. This model of care was evaluated for use Province-wide.

Designed and facilitated workshops with all employees and managers to support the introduction of the performance management system with Rogers Communications.
Designed and implemented Customer Service training and train the trainer programs with Public Works staff and managers. This program won recognition from Municipal Public Works departments throughout Ontario.
