Forum, Our Canada: Conversations in Domocracy.
Peter Russell, a well-known expert
on Canadian Constitutional law, will be the opening speaker for the forum and
will help frame the questions we need to ask ourselves. Everyone is welcome to

be a 2nd annual Our Dreams Matter Too walk for culturally
based equity for First Nations children. Our Dreams Matter Too is a
walk and letter writing event supporting First Nations children to grow up
safely at home, get a good education, be healthy, and proud of their cultures.
There were over 50 Our Dreams Matter Too walks across Canada last year,
including ours in Owen Sound. Details to follow.

Stand Out Conferences: The National Summit for LGBTQ-A* Service Providers. This summit will mark the first
time that LGBTQ-A* Service Providers will be able to meet together to discuss a

produces are coming under the knife of funding cuts. Sign a petition if you
wish to support it.
Dr. Abuelaish’s has spoken in Owen Sound a number of
times. Show your support for his inspiring work and place your vote for him as one of the
top immigrants to Canada.
Bring
Food Home 2013: Building Bridges Together will be held on November 17-19, in Windsor. This is
Ontario’s biennial conference connecting organizations working towards a
sustainable food system. They are currently looking for proposals! If
you are interested in presenting a workshop at Bring Food Home 2013, please
