About Greg Levine

Greg Levine is a barrister and solicitor in London and Southampton, Ontario. He is a member of the Law Societies of Upper Canada and British Columbia and has an LL.B. from the University of Toronto. He also has a Ph.D. in cultural geography from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.

Greg Levine has considerable expertise in administrative law and local government law. He has also done a wide range of solicitor's work and has well honed legal research skills. He was the General Counsel in the Office of the Ombudsman in British Columbia for many years and he was the first Research Solicitor for the City of Toronto (pre-amalgamation).

Greg Levine is an expert in government ethics law. He has lectured widely in the area at various professional conferences and has taught courses on this in Law at UBC, Political Science at Western and Political Science at King’s University College. Currently an Adjunct Professor in the Geography Department at the University of Western Ontario, Greg Levine teaches a courses on Geographic perspectives on Law and Society. He has also been a lecturer in both law and geography at other institutions. He has prepared and taught law courses at Queen's University (Social Science and Law; First Nations Traditional Law) and at University of British Columbia (Governmental Ethics Law). He has also taught in the Geography Departments at the University of British Columbia, Carleton University, Queen’s and McGill. He has written and published papers and has presented public lectures on various areas of law.
