History of the RESTLESS |
The first RESTLESS
was launched in Port Elgin on June 16, 1937. Considerable overhauling and
renovating was done to the boat in 1940. In 1946 a new boat was added that
was called the RESTLESS TOO. She ran until the fall of 1948. The RESTLESS
kept running passengers until the fall of 1953 when she became the victim
of a fall storm and was wrecked. Over the winter a new RESTLESS was built,
and it was launched in 1954. It ran until the fall of 1968. |
