Whispering Cedars Nature Cabins

Wake up to the sound of the forest in one of two screened cabins nestled among tall cedar trees.  Enjoy a short walk to a small private dock on quiet Larry’s Lake.  These ecologically sensitive cabins are located on two large private quiet waterfront lots.

Larry’s lake is ideal for both cooling off and relaxing.  The shallow lake is perfect for wading or boating with our small aluminum rowboat.  The outlet to lake Huron to the west makes for breathtaking sunsets.  The nearby Singing Sands National Park provides an excellent sand beach for swimming.

Whispering Cedars cabins are perfect for campers looking to escape from the concrete jungle.  These wilderness-style cabins provide no hydro, running water or propane.  Outdoors toilet facilities are provided.  These cabins provide protection from the elements and wildlife, indoor tables and chairs and provide mattresses off of the ground.

Outdoors picnic tables and fire ring, as well as available tenting areas allow for an authentic camping experience.

Whispering Cedars is located near the town of Tobermory, as well as the Bruce Peninsula National Park.  Nearby points of interest include:

The large Whispering Cedars cabin, with a larger kitchen area, rents for $50 per night or $290 per week.  The smaller cabin rents for $40 per night or $240 per week.  Both cabins are subject to a $100 returnable deposit.  The cabins hold 4 adults/children. (Note that most advertised cabins are 2 adults only.) Three night minimum rental on Holiday weekends with a $10 premium per cabin.

Firewood is available from nearby vendors and a  dumpster is available close by for garbage removal.  Rental shower facilities are available near Cyprus Lake Park.
