Sailing on the Cat offers a number of exciting activities that range from swimming, sunbathing, hiking, island hopping, and fishing to bird watching.

The island cruises include bird watching from the deck at historic Chantry Island or swimming off the shores of the secluded and beautiful Fishing islands.

Chantry Island, a federal bird sanctuary featuring an ancient lighthouse and keeper's lodge is full of history and wildlife.

The romantic Fishing Islands feature walking trails and soft white sand beaches with crystal blue swimming waters.

His & Hers

A 32' sloop rigged catamaran with sleeping accommodations for overnight cruises, His & Hers has plenty of room on deck for over 10 day sailors.

There is a swimming ladder for those who wish to enjoy a refreshing dip and there is a trampoline forward for those who would rather sunbath than swim.

The Skipper

Jerry Cowtan, sailing since 1984, has completed the Canadian Power and Sail Squadron and the Marine Radio courses and is a current member of the Port Elgin Yacht Club.
