Daytona

The club trip to Bike Week involves hauling the bikes to a location where the vehicle & trailers are left & then touring Florida by motorcycle as well as taking in Daytona.

Americade

"Americade has become the world's largest multi-brand motorcycle touring rally, drawing nearly 50,000. It's a convention of riders and passengers who enjoy riding tourers, sport tourers and cruising motorcycles." (Tour Expo Site).

This tour takes place in the first week of June.

The Americade tour involves a two day ride with a overnight stop at a motel. We spend an average of 8-10 hours per day, including stops, to reach our destination. The trip there and back is a big part of the touring. The most direct route is often not taken and where possible, major highways are avoided. Getting lost appears to be an unintended, but always exciting part of the tour.

Our accommodations for the week are made well in advance by the Ride Organizer . Members wishing to travel with the club should watch the Newsletter for information. Other accommodation information can be found at the Tour Expo site.
