Hi folks:
I am putting plans in place to have live streaming video from our race broadcast via internet for anyone that wants to watch the race but is not able to make it in person.
This should bring a whole new level to grass roots racing.

Here is the link to the spot where you will find it. Just a dashboard and slide show there now but we will be doing some testing from time to time leading up to the race date.

Thanks.
Rob Noakes.

Hi Folks:

We have decided that we are going to add an exhibition class to our race(s) this coming winter, The Grand Prix de Kincardine.

Here is the outline:

The class will be run on day 2 of the 2 day weekend race and we will run it after the regular classes are all done and over with.

The reasoning is that we are not sure how much the track will take both  for top speed and for standing up to bigger hp.

The cost will be $20 per sled for the track fee. The participants can decide if they want to throw money into a pot to make it interesting or if they just want to do it for bragging rights. If you have a sled that has already run in the regular classes, you can also run it in this class and there is no extra charge as you have already paid the $20 track fee for the day.

We will allow up to a maximum of 5 sleds at a time to race head to head.

The class will be a MAX of 340 cc liquid cooled and 440 CC fan or free air. It will be run whatcha brung so anything goes as long as it fits in the CC maximum and any year of sled, old or new.

There are no traction products or carbide runners allowed, same as all the other classes. Cleated tracks are ok but the driver/owner take full responsibility for the condition of the track. We reserve the right to inspect all tracks as much as we can if required.

Tethers are mandatory as are all the other safety rules for the sled and driver. Please review the rules on our web site.

This class does not qualify for the Kincardine Cup this year but will if it gets added to the regular class line up in future races.

Hopefully, this will work out well and we can see if it is realistic to add it to our regular class line up in future years.

Don't forget about our Fall Fun Day on Saturday September 12th, rain date is the 19th. We will have a nice trophy for the fastest lap time of the day on the karts at Family Funland.

I have also changed the CC limit in the Master's Class and Powder Puff class to 400CC Super Stock, FC or FA sleds. This will open up the classes a bit and may add some more potential racers as well.

Fire them up!
See you at the track!.
