  • Holly Shepstone who had a bake sale and raised $34.55 for the homeless animals at the Shelter :)
  • Special thank you to Maiya Burgess who for her birthday asked for G.I.F.T – Give it Forward Today, and donated all proceeds to the Owen Sound Animal Shelter. Her donations have covered potentially two surgery days. Way to go Maiya Burgess!
  • Mathea Treslan who asked for donations to the Shelter for her birthday.
  • Donations were made to the Shelter in memory of James Hayes of Ancaster, ON from the Morton, Ardern, Rennick, Schnurr, West and Gonder families of Hepworth, ON.
  • Alyssa Lozon, who loves Bolt but can't adopt him! She sold some of her moms old purses and cupcakes and raised $102.00 to help him. Way to go Alyssa!!!
  • Solay Tannahill and Ashley Johnson who raised $56.14 making duct tape wallets and book marks to help the Shelter's Spay/Neuter, Medical Fund.
  • Joni Lang who recently held a birthday for her 50th and raised $225.00 for the Shelter's Spay/Neuter, Medical Fund!       
  • All the wonderful people who have donated, adopted and offered support to the Shelter. There is no greater gift than making a difference in the lives of those in need and you have helped make this possible. All the best to you and your family this holiday season!
  • The Owen Sound Police Services for the donations gathered at their 2012 Christmas Party for the Shelter.
  • Mathea Treslan, Colleen Donovan and Jessie Meanwell. They started "anything animals" and do fundraising for the local shelters. They donated $46.00 to OSAS today!
  • For a 9th birthday for Siobhan Ozborne asked for donation to the animal shelter. Happy bday to you!!
  • Sasha Dobisz and friends, who made and sold braclets to help the homeless pets and also donated food in memory of their cat that they just put down today :(
  • The Buddy Henderson Memorial Motorcycle Club, for their donation to the Spay/Neuter, Medical Fund. Your generosity is appreciated.
  • Happy 100th birthday to Fred Wilkinson! Donations have been made in loving honour of you this day to the Owen Sound Animal Shelter. Lives will be saved thanks to you!
  • Emma Roberts - Walkerton Public School. She held a costume day and raised $80.00 for the Shelter.
  • Happy Birthday and thank you to Annika Veroni who asked for donations, for the Shelter, in lieu of birthday presents.
  • Kaitlyn and Mackenzie had a lemon aid stand and raised money to purchase kitten food and toys for the Shelter cats. The biggest thank you to you two.
  • Fox Harley Davidson for choosing us for their charity for the May 7th poker run..raising $365.00 for the Shelter's Spay/Neuter, Medical Fund! Our biggest thank you!
  • Ms. Walkers' class of SDSS for their pennies for pets campaign raising over $500.00 for the Shelter ... our biggest thanks!
  • Dylan Dorey who completed the Nobody Project at school, and raised $65.00. This money was used to buy cat food for the animal shelter.

This Shelter services the City of Owen Sound, Georgian Bluffs, Hanover, Saugeen First Nations and Saugeen Shores. We are also the holding Shelter for Grey Highlands Animal Control.
